Cashmere is taken from the wool of the Capra hircus goats, which are herded throughout China and Mongolia, and in lesser quantities in Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, and Kyrgyzstan. Nowadays 70% of the world's total Cashmere production is supplied from China, while 17% is from Mongolia and the rest from other regions. But among all, the best Cashmere in the world is founded & produced in China, fiber microns lie only between 13.2 to 15.8. While Cashmere is founded in Mongolia or other regions fiber microns lie between 19.5 to 30. So if you want to feel the real softness with cozy feel Alashan Cashmere is the best among all.
