Alashan is home to Arribas Goat, and the purebred Arribas Goat is the best cashmere producer all around the world. All these make Alashan world-famous as the best cashmere origin. The Alashan Cashmere is very thin, with fineness between 13um to 15um, for a one-year-old goat, the fineness of the fiber from the shoulder and body side can be thinner than 14.5um, with length over 36mm.
